Cross Table: Titling Tables and Choosing an Excel Export Format

Within the revamped the Edit function users have the ability to give tables a title. Instead of going into Options > Table Display > Title users will now be able to title their tables in the Edit interface whether they are working in A&R’s default mode or working in Flexible Banner mode: 

When users wish to export their tables into Excel, they have the choice of exporting in the existing table format or they can export in the new table format.

Along with this change to Edit and titling tables, we also offer users two format choices for exporting their tables. The main difference between these options is how the table of contents page is displayed:

For users who rely on the existing Excel export format for their table set-ups and Excel macros, nothing has changed:

However, the Walr Platform also offers user a new Excel export format that offers more detail for their table of contents. When toggled “on” the new format adds an additional column to the Excel export:

Please note that we have not moved the location of switching on the Question ID. If users want to display this in the A&R Cross Table interface and in Excel exports, they still continue to do this by going to Options > Table Display > Question ID > select “Yes”.
