Within Cross Table, it is possible to copy and paste variables within the same session, into a different session, or into a similar dataset (e.g. copying a variable from Wave 1 to Wave 2 of a tracker).
To copy a variable(s), select the row/column variables you want to copy so that they are highlighted in blue.
Next, go to the Actions menu and then select Copy rows/columns:
Next, select the variable that you want to paste below then go to the Actions menu and then select Paste rows/columns. (NB: if you do not select a variable to paste below, A&R will paste the variable(s) you copied at the end of the row/column variables):
