How to add images into Survey Builder to use as answer choices

 

Step 1: Click on the File Manager icon in the left-hand menu.

Step 2: Add a new folder either within an existing folder by clicking “New Folder” or a new section folder by clicking the black folder icon on the right.

Step 3: Click Upload and upload the image(s) you want in your survey from your computer. (These upload one at a time):

Your files will then appear in the folder:

Step 4: Return to your project via the home or project icons and clicking on your project:

Step 5: Open your survey (for how to set-up and edit surveys please see the relevant articles here). Here you can either add a new question and add the images as answer choices or you can upload the images via a new or existing list. To add an image as an answer choiuce, click on an empty answer choice row and a black bar will appear with several options click on the image icon:

This will then open a box where you can upload your image via a URL or via the images uploaded to File Manager from your computer:

Step 6: Select the images you want to upload one at a time.

They will then appear row by row as you add them:

Additional tips and tricks:

You can adjust the size of the images by… adding width. Turn HTML ON by clicking on

Post that you can add width to the images just by adding style=”width:100px” (or whatever size you prefer).

 

You can also add supplementary text by clicking on the down arrow to the right of the image you added:
