Overview:
In addition to the main features, Survey Builder also offers users the ability to replicate, upload, and adjust specific settings. This article covers the settings menu and copy/paste features.
Copy/Paste Elements, Duplicate, and Paste pad
Within Survey Builder, users may want to copy, paste, or duplicate syntax, questions, and answer choices within the same survey or across to a different survey.
The “…” menu in the top left allows you to do this:
Copying and/or pasting to/from another survey:
Copy elements: To copy a question across to another survey, press and hold down Ctrl then select “Copy elements”
Paste elements: To paste, simply select “Paste elements” (you do not need to hold down Ctrl).
Copying and/or pasting within the same survey:
Duplicate: To copy a question/answer choices within the same set-up, press and hold down Ctrl then select “Duplicate” this function copies the exact set-up and settings locally within the current survey you are working on.
Paste pad: Copy from Word or Notepad into Survey Builder’s “Paste pad”. If you’re looking to copy syntax, this is the most efficient way.
Refresh Suvery Comments: Updates the latest comments made during testing for your survey.
Settings Menu:
Survey Builder also offers a menu where users can edit the text for the back button and progress bar or you can disable these features. In settings, you can also set a logo and icon and upload CSS and JavaScript references:
