Editing or changing text elements is possible throughout the Walr Platform, whether you are importing a dataset, or editing on the fly” when running an analysis.
Here is how to edit text elements on Charts.
1. Select the question(s) in which you want to edit or override the text elements
2. Select “Edit question” and the Question editor appears
3. To edit the Question text, simply place the cursor within the text field and edit your text / question label.
4. To edit the rows (or columns in grid questions), simply double-click on the text and edit / write your new text / category label.
5. You can merge answer choices and/or add a scaling factor to your variables (to create an average or calculate NPS).
6. You can use the red trash can to get rid of anything you merged that you no longer want.
7. Click Update to save your changes.
This text edit/override will be executed for all appearances of the selected questions(s) in the graphic section regardless of whether they are in rows or columns.
You will not need to change the text in all questions, the Edit Question wizard will do that for you.
