On the Walr Platform, a project is basically a folder that contains all of your project documents in one place. It is the starting point for all of your work on the Walr Platform. You cannot move forward unless you have created a project.
Within a project (folder) you could have:
- Surveys or Scripts from the Survey Builder
- Data sets
- Data operations (coming soon)
- Exports
- Project documents (Excel files, pictures, PDF files etc.)
A project can be shared with other users within you organisation - and may even be shared with other stakeholders outside your organisation.
Create a New Project

To create a new project from the Home page, click the project folder, then click "Create new"

A three step wizard will walk you through the process.

[1] General settings
.
- Project name (required)
- Description (optional)
- Tags (searchable keywords, optional). Tags are custom free text labels and are not binding on any operations. They are convenient for organizing your materials.

[2] Access control
.
- Private. Only you can see it
- Company is the default. Everyone with access to Research Studio in your company have access
- Custom allows the selection of users from drop-down list who should have access

[3] Branding - the look and feel of your project on the start page (optional)

- Upload and select an image, We suggest using a smaller icon
- Select a colour for your project ID

Finally, click "Create".

The project is now ready and will be displayed among the projects in your account.
