Upload a respondent list (Sample file)

Users can upload a list of IDs, emails or contacts which are then invited to the survey. This is known as a ‘respondent list’ or ‘sample file’. Uploading a respondent list to your survey is very simple.

Important

A sample file / respondent list must meet the following criteria.

  • Excel format only
  • Maximum 100,000 rows (respondents)
  • Maximum 25 columns (variables)
  • 1x variable for “Email” and/or “Phone”
  • No limitations on language.

Starting within the Launch Tab of Survey Builder, click the “New audience” button to open the ‘Create’ window.

Select ‘Respondent list’. NB: This will not work if you have not published your survey (top right) of the Launch tab.

Add any preferred name, description or tag(s). Name is mandatory.

In this example we have named this audience “Demo sample”.

Click ‘Create’.
